A place to find yummy food, tasty coffee and friendly people
A LONG-LASTING PRANK
The founders picked the old mythical former post office building right next to the main train station. Naming the Cafe was the next step. That task was given to one of them, the funniest and cheekiest. An old boy with a wicked sense of humour. He carefully crafted a long-lasting prank, misspelling the word "Trinity". He knew the staff would have to explain 3265412 times the error and get us in trouble with the grammar police. But up to this days that simple desition has lead to multiple conversations with our customers, smiles and pique curiosity in our visitors and passersby.
It has promoted human interaction and that is what our Cafe is all about.
IT ALL STARTED IN 1999
Three good old fellas passionate for coffee felt nostalgic trying to find somewhere to enjoy a good foamy cup of Italian cappuccino, tasty french toasts, crunchy Mexican nachos, their favourite kiwi wines and healthy choices.
They realised that such place needed to exist in Mount Albert. A place to sit and relax, a place to meet others or, simply a place for lone wolves that enjoy one of life's simplest pleasures, a good cup of coffee.
